CDF Corporation, a leading manufacturer of drum, pail, intermediate bulk container and bag in box liners and flexible packaging, will be presenting “Flexible Packaging Solutions for Chemical Manufacturers” at the April ASC Convention, booth# 310.
The CDF speech “Flexible Packaging Solutions for Chemical Manufacturers” will give an overview of flexible packaging solutions used in the chemical industry. Participants will learn about the different types of in-process manufacturing packaging, the benefits of selecting one product over another and the latest packaging innovations.
Representing CDF will be Product Manager Iris Thomas. In her current role as Product Manager of the Cheertainer bag-in-box product line, Iris is responsible for the development and growth of the Cheertainer brand in North America and the subsequent coordination with CDF's European business affiliate. Her current business goals are to increase awareness of the benefits of flexible packaging and to increase Cheertainer’s market share in North America. Iris is working closely with the beverage, chemical and petroleum markets.
Iris is a frequent speaker at industry trade events on a variety of topics, including flexible packaging for liquids - from packaging concept to filling and delivery. Most recently, Iris has addressed the Petroleum Packaging Council and the Packaging Alliance Network.
CDF will have a wide range of flexible packaging solutions on display at the ASC Expo on April 22. CDF’s newest product, the Smart Pail, is a plastic pail replacement system. The Smart Pail is a semi-rigid, flexible vacuum-formed plastic liner with the option of a hermetically sealed lid and/or snap-on plastic cover, corrugated box and corrugated lid. The Smart Pail was developed for viscous and dry products.
