CDF Corporation to Exhibit at Ice Cream Technology Conference

Massachusetts-Based Global Packaging Experts at Event for Innovation, Technology, and New Trends

Plymouth, MA – April 9, 2018 - CDF Corporation, a global company that specializes in the manufacture and sale of intermediate bulk container liners (IBC), bag-in-box, and flexible packaging solutions—along with high-quality pail liners and drum liners—will be exhibiting at the Ice Cream Technology Conference. This is the premier event for ice cream and frozen dessert professionals and is the only meeting that focuses specifically on innovations in frozen dessert research, technology, and new market trends. The conference is April 10 and 11 at Sanibel Harbour Marriot Resort & Spa, Fort Myers, Florida. Ice Cream Tech provides unique opportunities to learn from experts on food safety, labeling, and regulations that affect the industry. The conference features networking opportunities, hands-on sessions, and product tasting, including the annual Innovative Ice Cream Flavor Competition.

Ice Cream Tech is the place to learn and share, and to engage in an open exchange among participants and experts on technical and practical processing issues in the ice cream and frozen dessert industry. Visitors can talk with the packaging experts from CDF, who will be on hand exhibiting their Air-Assist® IBC Liner, IBC Form-Fit Liner (330 gallons), and Pillow-Shape Liner (55 gallon).CDF_IBC-Air-Assist-Liner-1-700pxl

Air-Assist liners are specially designed for convenient dispensing and improved evacuation of high viscosity products. Form-Fit Liners (cube-shaped) are manufactured to form-fit the internal shape of your intermediate bulk container. Form-fit IBC liners provide high performance in critical applications. When filled, these industrial IBC tote liners form the shape of a pillow. Pillow-shaped liners are typically constructed with two or three plies of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and a barrier film when used for aseptic and oxygen-barrier applications.

CDF Vice President Jay Waltz said of the event, “We’ve had successful interactions with industry colleagues at Ice Cream Tech. Our product is great for shipping and storing ice cream additives, and people in the ice cream industry are excited about the solutions CDF provided for ease of use, food safety, and durability. We love sharing ideas and hearing what ice cream and dairy distributors anticipate for business growth so we can position ourselves to help them get there.”
